The notion of gardening clothes is, in some degree, a nonsense of course. After all, it is the original clothes recycling programme and what after all could beat the shabby chic of your old jeans and a torn cashmere cardi? We agree. That said, there are one or two items where it’s worth equipping yourself with something designed for the purpose. Gloves, naturally. Footwear, naturally. And this section champions the cause of the gardening hat, apron and gardening gloves.
