Seeds

We are honoured to report that our esteemed Head Gardener and Seedsman has graciously agreed to supply our garden emporium with a unique range of Hortica vegetable, herb and cottage garden and wild flower seeds.

The seeds are packaged most pleasingly with an accurate engraving of the grown plant alongside instructions for their cultivation and a quotation from a historical manuscript.

One of our favourites is the Cowslippe (Primula veris) “They remedy all infirmities of the head coming of heat and wind, as vertigo, ephialtes, false apparitions, frenzies, falling sickness, palsies, convulsions and pains of the nerves”
